In the first two weeks of April, we have seen a drop in new listings compared to 2019 and to earlier in 2020. Compared to the same time last year, more than 50% fewer new listings hit the market across the DMV.

After a strong start to March, new Under Contract listings have started to drop steadily in April and are down around 40% compared to this time last year.

In the DMV, closed deals are down about 50% compared to this time last year.

Given these shifts, should I sell, should I buy? These are important questions.
